Mummy's entry - My baby is 1!

Dear Haye Li,

Mummy cannot believe how fast you have grown! It really feels as if I have just given birth to you (probably coz you still wake up 2-3 times every night!).

You're acting all grown up now, wanting to be independant in everything you do. It doesn't help that you're walking so steadily as if you have been walking all this while.

You're quite a character too. So young and can show tantrums already. I am prepared to treat you the same like your cher-cher when she throws her tantrums and that is mummy will ignore you both. :D

You're also getting smarter. When mummy scolds you, you easily pretend that nothing has happened and would give me your sweetest smile ever or even laughed as if the wrong you have done was a joke. And this leads to your strength which is you're a smiley baby. Always smiling and happy - you sure know how to use this to your advantage!

My Haye Li, my Haye Li! You're one year old today. Happy Birthday! And here's wishing you many more wonderful birthdays to come. Please don't grow up so fast okay. Let mummy and papa enjoy having you as a baby first. We love you so much!

I never knew parties can be so much fun - I would like to have more please mummy & papa! Anyway, I'm reminded that I need to be polite and to THANK all of you for your attendance to my party, presents and angpows. Also to thank you for all your wonderful wishes and messages too. How nice to be one year old all the time yea?!

By the way, I hear my celebration has yet to end since my actual birthday falls on Friday. We are going to Camerons! :D
