It has always been this way when I disciplined Rye Li, I will count to three loudly, giving her some time to listen to me before I reprimand her for her wrongdoings. Not that it works all the time but it has been a habit of mine disciplining the girls.
So when it comes to Haye Li, naturally, I would also do the same especially these days when she is getting really cheeky. Last week, she surprised me back when I was warning her with my “ONE!”, she went “Two” with her ever so innocent look and I didn’t know whether to laugh or continuing scolding her. I didn’t know that she is already counting!
Now, she always does this to me when I start to warn her on her wrongdoings. And I also took the opportunity to teach her the rest of the numbers. I guess Rye Li sensed the humour in this and she also being the smarty pants that she is, will do the same to me now when I count to three for her wrongdoings. Sigh!
Adding on to what I can remember of what other words Haye Li knows of:
Book = boo book
Bye = byeeee
Baby = baybee
Smile = mile
Move = moosh
Thank you = tata or taaaa kiu!
Give me = me (and putting out her hands, indicating that she wants it)
And ever since the mamau incident, she has been calling me mummy numerous times since then. Guess she wants my attention big time now. Haha.
Another baby girl's journal through the eyes of my Mummy. And just like my sister's Rye Li's blog, what you read here is not to intentionally discriminate or hurt anyone, if you're offended in anyway, please go look for my mummy!
